Body Beauty Jessica Alba

High-profile moms like Jessica Alba are always one step ahead when it comes to losing the baby weight after pregnancy. They do it so fast that you cannot believe they were swollen just a few weeks ago. One moment they are carrying pounds equivalent to half their original weight; another moment you see them sporting great gowns down the red carpet like nothing happened. In the case of Jessica Alba, she was already working for a Campari job. So how exactly did she do it?

Diet: Her post-pregnancy diet was maintained at 1700 calories to 2,000 calories per day. From all viewpoints, this is a fairly healthy diet. It can keep all normal body functions working well while providing sufficient energy for other things.

Exercise: Complete observance of rigid energy expenditure is the best way to lose weight after pregnancy, though not necessarily the healthiest way. For her case, she had to work out for one whole hour, five to six days a week. According to her, the workout routines are horrible, but worthwhile just the same. She followed the 3-2-1 Baby Bulge Be Gone Workout that lasted for 12 weeks under her trainer's supervision.

This type of workout is broken down into three sets of cardio routines lasting ten minutes each: one session of 10-minute abdominal work and two 10-minute full body-toning circuits. On top of these, she also did swimming, weight lifting, and treadmill exercises at home.

Her secret: Apart from a strictly monitored diet and regular exercise that burns up more than 500 calories per day, Jessica Alba also wore a girdle to put her tummy back in form. According to her, she got the idea from a friend who wore a girdle after birth even during sleep, and showed amazing results. A few weeks after giving birth, her friend's six pack abs were already showing.
